Generally speaking, the elderly care professionals are insufficient in quantity, with unreasonable age structure, inadequate education background, and low degree of specialization. It is recommended to promote the development of the elderly care professionals in Anhui Province through the following measures. Firstly, the progressive "order-type" talent cultivation mode should be constructed to strengthen the cultivation of elderly care professionals. Secondly, the volunteers should be motivated to make up for the shortage of elderly care professionals. Thirdly, the salary of elderly care professionals should be raised to increase their enthusiasm for the work. Finally, the classified training should be implemented to enhance the degree of specialization for the elderly care professionals.
